Various groups of specially trained volunteers serve in the General Hospital. They are people of different origins and professionalism who have a great symphaty for those who are suffering and offer them their help to supply the daily needs beyond medical-nursing assistance.
They specially take care of the elderly, seriously ill patients, children, people who are alone or who are in trouble. To dialogue with them and to listen them, to make small purchases and to handle some of their business are some aspects of the service they provide.
The volunteers also collaborate to the patient protection, pointing out particular needs and possible inefficiencies. They can be recognized by the tag affixed on the uniform. To contact them, you just have to turn to the Head nurse.
