The General Hospital’s entrances to access the parking areas are:
A | Largo A. Gemelli, 8
(opens 24 hours a day)
B | Via Trionfale
Monday / Friday from 5:30 to 9:30 pm – Saturday from 5:30 to 2:00 pm
closed on Sunday and public holidays
C | Largo F. Vito, 1
Monday / Friday from 5:30 to 9:30 pm – Saturday from 5:30 to 2:00 pm
always closed on Sundays and on public holidays (open from 11 am to 2 pm and from 7 pm to 9:15 pm because of religious services of the Central Church)
Information on Entrances, Shuttle and Taxi
General Hospital’s Entrances
The entrances to the hospital are the following:
1. 4th Floor’s reception is open from Monday to Sunday (including holidays) from 7 am to 10 pm
2. 3rd Floor’s reception (employee entrance) is always open
Shuttle a free shuttle service is available from 7:40 am to 5:35 pm, from Monday to Friday. The route sets out stops – all marked with special yellow road signs- in the area that includes the Faculty, the General Hospital, the Biological Institutes, the Assisted Health Residence and the various parking lots; the shuttle leaves about every 30 minutes.
Taxi Service During the day it is possible to use the urban service taxis parked in front of the General Hospital’s Reception in “largo A. Gemelli, 8”.


Subway
Line A. Stops: Valle Aurelia – Cornelia or Battistini. Above ground it is necessary to take the following bus lines, which have stops at the General Hospital’s entrance.

With Car2Go/ShareNow you will be able to get to the Gemelli General Hospital where you will find reserved free parking areas.



Treno
From Termini station take the subway to Valle Aurelia,then the FM3 Rome-Viterbo line and get off at the “Gemelli”stop.


Bike
The bike path is available from Valle Aurelia to the Gemelli General Hospital’s railway station; from the station continue on Via Pineta Sacchetti towards the main entrance. From Monte dei Cocci the bike path reaches the Gemelli General Hospital’s railway station; from the station continue on Via Pineta Sacchetti towards the main entrance.


Bus
line 994 (route: Valle Aurelia – Pineta Sacchetti, San Filippo Neri Hospital);
line 446 (Circonvallazione Cornelia – Pineta Sacchetti – Cortina d’Ampezzo – Ponte Milvio – Piazza Mancini);
line 146 (Battistini – Pineta Sacchetti – Policlinico Gemelli).

Highway
Those coming from the South (Naples), after entering the Grande Raccordo Anulare, can take:
- exit 1 – Via Aurelia (towards Piazza Irnerio – Via della Pineta Sacchetti)
- exit 2 – Via Boccea (towards Via di Torrevecchia – Via della Pineta Sacchetti).

Airport
From Fiumicino, Airport Take the FR1 “Settebagni” line for 5 stops Get off at the Trastevere stop Take the FR3B “Cesano” line for 5 stops Get off at the Gemelli stop.
