The Services Card contains news and information about the hospital’s organization and the services offered, and was created to help citizens use the facility and to provide an informational tool that is easy to consult, in compliance with what is foreseen by D.L. May 12, 1995 n° 163, applied to health by D.P.C.M. May 19, 1995.
What is it for?
The Services Card protects the patients’ rights, improving their relationship with the providing institution by:
- recognizing the right to receive information that allows the citizen to know about the services offered and the way to receive them;
- publishing the standards of quantity and quality of the services offered and the assessment of the patients’ level of satisfaction;
- giving citizens the power of control over the quality of the services provided;
- guaranteeing patients’ protection in the event of a disservice by recognizing their right to complain.
Objectives
From this point of view, the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS aims to guarantee health protection as a common and personal good, promoting measures necessary to achieve the objectives of assistance effectiveness, technical and organizational suitability, efficiency in the allocation and use of human resources, economic and instrumental, along with the objectives of education and research.
The Public Relations Office (URP) provides information about health benefits and services and receives comments and complaints in any form presented by individual citizens/users or by Associations that represent them.
