The research carried out during 2018 by Professors and Researchers coming from the Catholic University of Rome and from the Foundation was supported by 485 research projects. Among them, there were 194 new projects funded by external subjects, for a total contracted amount of over 14 million euros. To this must be added the contributions for scientific research relating to the internal lines of the university (200 projects and prizes for € 1.4m) and 91 activated clinical trials (with a revenue of € 6.5m) for a total amount of over 22 million €. This data not only consolidates the datas from previous years, but is also higher than the datas from the previous three-years period, confirming the momentum and the ability of Researchers (both from the University and the General Hospital) to carry out research and to attract resources.
