The appointment can be made by telephone (<a class=\"kf-link normal no-underline\" href=\"tel:+390630154375\">06 3015.4375<\/a>) or by going directly to the Nuclear Medicine Service\u2019s administrative registration Office (second floor of the Policlinico, wing E).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Appointments are made differently for the cases indicated below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Octreotide Scan<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>mIBG Scintiscan<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Cortex adrenal norcholesterol scintigraphy.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The patient must make an appointment for a medical visit in preparation of the exam at the administrative registration Office or by going personally to the registration window. After evaluating the request\u2019s appropriateness, the doctor will set the date for the scintigraphy exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Brain scintigraphy (DaTSCAN) (or brain scintigraphy with receptor tracking)<\/strong><br>Every Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the following telephone number: <a class=\"kf-link normal no-underline\" href=\"tel:+390630154600\">06 3015.4600<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Erythrocyte volume and erythrocyte survival.<br><\/strong>The patient must make an appointment for a medical visit in preparation of the exam at the administrative registration Office or by going personally to the registration window. After evaluating the request\u2019s appropriateness, the doctor will set the date for the scintigraphy exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Labelled autologous leukocyte scintigraphy<\/strong><br>The patient must make an appointment for a medical visit in preparation of the exam through one of the following methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>by calling the administrative registration Office (<a class=\"kf-link normal no-underline\" href=\"tel:+390630154375\">06 3015.4375<\/a>)<\/li><li>by going personally to the administration registration Office window<\/li><li>sending an e-mail to &nbsp;<a class=\"kf-link italic no-underline\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:leucocitimarcati@policlinicogemelli.it\" target=\"_blank\">leucocitimarcati@policlinicogemelli.it<\/a>&nbsp;(making sure to provide a telephone number)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After evaluating the request\u2019s appropriateness, the doctor will set the date for the scintigraphy exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Some services are provided also through the private practice system. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nuclear medicine therapeutics are done after making an appointment for a  \u201cnuclear-medicine pretreatment\u201d visit.
