{"id":20783,"date":"2019-06-26T15:04:07","date_gmt":"2019-06-26T15:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.policlinicogemelli.it\/centers\/cemi\/"},"modified":"2020-01-17T10:46:50","modified_gmt":"2020-01-17T10:46:50","slug":"cemi","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.policlinicogemelli.it\/en\/centers\/cemi\/","title":{"rendered":"CeMI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The<strong> Gemelli&#8217;s Aging medicine&#8217;s Center<\/strong> (Ce.M.I.)&nbsp; has as first aim to provide assistance to \u201cfragile\u201d, elderly people by protocols including both comprehensive measures and individualized procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center was created with the idea of providing a continuity of care to meet the elderly man&#8217;s needs and to ensure the patient&#8217;s care as the time goes by. The activities are divided into the six floors of the <strong>Multifunctional Healthcare Complex<\/strong>. This activities are explicit on a homogeneous functional area and they are healthcare-oriented. The geriatrics assessment unit (UVG) acts as a complementary organisation and it is composed by geriatrician (as coordinator), physiatrist, neuropsychologist, social worker, professional nurse and rehabilitation therapist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A multidimensional evaluation is done to establish which are the individualized assistance&#8217;s procedures to implement through the various services, with preventive, curative, rehabilitative or maintenance interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore the Ce.M.I. Is composed by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>an\nOperational Unit for patients with acute symptoms;<\/li><li>two Rehabilitative Operational Units;<\/li><li>a Day Hospital<\/li><li>Clinics<\/li><li>The\nRehabilitation and Functional Reeducation service, which carries out its\nactivity in three gyms and in two clinics;<\/li><li>The Department of Neuropsychology;<\/li><li>The Fitness Center<\/li><li>The\nResearch Center for the promotion and the development of geriatric care\n(CEPSAG)<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Gemelli&#8217;s Aging medicine&#8217;s Center (Ce.M.I.)&nbsp; has as first aim to provide assistance to \u201cfragile\u201d, elderly people by protocols including both comprehensive measures and individualized procedures.
